Altmaier and Rösler Paper Lacking Support in Bundesrat

This post is part of a series discussing a new position paper by German Environment Minister Altmaier and Economy Minister Rösler on reducing cost of the feed-in tariff system.

As Sonnenseite reports, in a meeting with the German States’ government representatives yesterday, there was much criticism of the proposals, most of which will be very difficult to get through the Bundesrat. The Saarland government pointed out that the paper came much too late (it was only handed out in the meeting, not beforehand), and said that the only progress was that the Federal Government found a common position.
