World Bank Climate Change Report

The World Bank has released a new report on climate change with the title “Turn down the heat”.

I have not read the full report, only the press release. For anyone paying attention, there is not much new information there.

I only mention this here for further reference later, since the World Bank is a potential source of funds for large scale renewable energy projects in the desert. They are active in the Ourzazate project, having committed $200 million.

It is good to know that the World Bank understands the challenge. That can only help securing more funds for renewable energy projects later on.
